The Clare Club All Stars were named today and the Bridge have a strong and deserved representation on the team following their run to the final.
Derek Fahy who had a heroic year in goals scoring penalties and stopping penalties gets the number 1 jersey.
Seadna Morey who had the job of man marking the top forwards in the county in his last 3 games namely Ian Galvin, Aidan McCarthy and Shane McGrath and the fact Seadna as well as all 3 he marked make the team is a testament to the battles they had throughout the knockout stages of the championship.
Our Captain Jamie Shanahan who was a marquee point scorer throughout the championship from midfield or the half forward line is named at 12 while Brian Corry who was in the form of his life in this years championship scoring freely is named at 13.
Well done also to Barry Fitzpatrick who was named among the substitutes.
The team will be managed by Ger Loughnane on this Sunday when the play the Clare All Ireland Winning team in a fundraising game for the players holiday fund. The game throws in at 1PM in Ennis on Sunday November 3rd.
