This week sees the Harty Cup (Munster Colleges U19 Hurling) quarter finals take place and the 'Bridge will have representation on both the Ard Scoil and St Flannans College squads.

The semi-finals of the Dr Harty Cup will take place on January 18 with the final taking place on February 1.
The two teams that reach the final of the Munster post-primary competition will also advance onto the All-Ireland series.

The city based school take on Thurles CBS on Wednesday at 1:30pm in Newport GAA Grounds having qualified with victories over Castletroy College, Our Lady's College Templemore and Colaiste Choilm during their group campaign.
The north circular road outfit last won the Dr Harty Cup in 2018 and they now look like strong contenders to win this competition for the first time in six years.Thurles CBS defeated Our Lady's College Templemore in the preliminary quarter-final to reach the last eight.
