This Saturday will see 3 Clare Minor hurling teams in action - For the first time Clare will have 2 teams in the Celtic Challenge competition with manager Brian Culbert detetermined to expose as many players as possible to Minor hurling action with their County.
O'Garney Park will host a double header on Saturday with Clare V East Cork at 10:30AM followed by Clare V West Cork at 12 noon.
The 'Bridge will have representation across the 2 teams in Conor Gleeson, Cuan Mac Giolla Cearra, Donal O'Leary, Dylan Keogh, Rory Chaplin and Stephen Gavin.
Then its off up to Cusack Park where Clare play Tipperary in Round 1 of the Munster Championship. We have 3 players in this squad namely Zak Phelan, Jack O'Halloran and Conor Keogh.
Its a proud day for the club to have so many boys involved and we wish them the very best of luck on Saturday and encourage you all to come out and support them. Its not so long ago these 9 boys walked in the gates of O'Garney Park for U6 training with a dream to hurl for Clare some day and they are a testament to hard work and dedication paying off.
