St. Finnachtas NS Sixmilebridge St. Finnachtas (Division 1) started their title defence last week with a win over Tulla NS on a score of 3-07 to 0-4. Next up they face Clonlara tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12 Noon in Clonlara and on Friday they will be at home to Killaloe NS.

Kilmurry NS (Division 4)qualified for the semi finals of the Schools competition following wins over St Aidans Shannon (which included JJ form our U13s), Mountshannon/Lakyle & Flagmount/Dromindoora on Monday. Full report here.
St. Senans (Division 5) also qualified for the semi final stages today (Tuesday) when they beat Parteen. They lost out narrowly to St. Conaires but still qualify in 2nd place in their group. Well done to Alex and his teammates.
Clonmoney NS (Division 3) opened their campaign with a win away to Broadford last Friday. Their remaining group fixtures are as follows: Rd 2. Dates for the diary All Semi Finals must be played and reported to cumannnambunscolanchlair@gmail.com by Friday 30th May without exception. Final days are scheduled for 11th & 12th June in Cusack Park. Please keep these dates free as with a busy schedule of games, it is unlikely that fixture requests will be accommodated.
Hurling Rules 2025 1. Teams may be made up of pupils from 6th class and lower. 2. All players must wear a helmet. 3. A teacher must accompany the team. 4. Girls are allowed to play in hurling competitions provided this is not used as an excuse to seek postponement of hurling matches. In schools with more than 120 pupils, no girl is allowed to play on a boys' team. 5. Unlimited substitutions. 6. Size 4 sliotar is to be used for all matches. 7. Juvenile posts should be used. 8. The following team sizes, pitch dimensions and match durations are advised.
