The club held its first committee meeting of 2026 this week and a number of positions and management teams were ratified. Right now the club has its largest member base ever recorded in its history and the highest number of adult hurlers ever donning the Saffron and Blue of the 'Bridge with 8 adult hurling teams (Senior, Intermediate, Junior (x3), U21A, U21C and Social hurling). This coupled with the largest migration of players from the Minor ranks to Adult ranks in one season with 17 boys moving up it was felt by all the time was right now to look at structures at an organisation level in the club.
As a result of the rapidly expanding size of the club, the management committee successfully proposed a restructuring of the Secretary's role into different responsibilities. This has created an opportunity for new personnel to come in the ever open doors of the club to volunteer their time and it is also encouraging that others who retired from their roles at the recent AGM have stayed on in an advisory capacity providing invaluable help in other areas of the club.
Luke O' Halloran is taking on the role of Operations Officer with responsibility for: Monitoring Club secretary emails, Club Meetings Minutes, Team affiliation, Player status/regrading.
Brian Leyden will take on the role of fixtures Secretary.
Siobhan Ryan will continue as Player Welfare Officer managing injury claims.
Adrian Hogan will be coordinating tickets for Intercounty Games as well as Access Control and Camera monitoring on the clubs facilities as well as organising stewards for home games.
Other roles which were ratified this week include: Club Registrar (Declan Murphy) Field and Arena bookings (Donal Murphy) Hall Bookings (James Scanlon)
On the team management side of things, John O'Meara is the senior manager with Minor winning manager from 2025 Tadgh Keogh part of the management team also with other backroom team members to be finalized.
James Hassett, John Macnamra and Martin Corry will take the Junior B1 team with more backroom members to be announced later.
John Fahy, Brendan O'Callaghan and Gerry Liddane will again take the Junior C team and will have some further backroom team members to be announced later.
