A Hurling demonstration in our twinned town Nort Sur Erde , France took place earlier this week. The demonstration was given by members of Sixmilebridge Gaa club and Bridge United who are currently on tour with the U12 team.

The hurling demonstration even made the local newspaper! Some of those involved in the exhibition included Kevin Phelan, Gerry liddane, Martin Breen, Pa O’ Haloran, Colin Murphy , Corey Phelan , John Moloney, Leon Kelly Conor Murphy and Scott Kirkland and some of the u12 hurlers.

Some of the hurlers presented hurley’s to their French hosts, maybe a hurling team will spring up there in years to come. 

The travellers return home Friday.
