Our seniors played Feakle under lights in O'Garney Park on Friday night last in Round 2 of the Clare Cup.
Our U9s put on a fine display at half time displaying all their skills in front of the Tommy Morey stand, well done to all the boys and their coaches such a great experience for them to be able to play in fromt of the crowd and at half time in the Senior game.
At half time the Bridge trailed Feakle by 5 points on a scoreline of 0-09 to 2-08. Unfortunately the gap only widened as the second half progressed and the 2024 County Final winners Feakle ran out as winners by 11 points on a scoreline of 1-15 to 3-20. Shane McGrath was in fine form for Feakle and encouragingly for the Bridge, young Stephen Gavin stepped up with 1-1 and Brian Corry chipped in 5 points from play putting in a very good performance.
Next up for the Seniors is Eire Og on the 11th of April in O'Garney Park at 6pm.
