Anne was more than just part of our club, her unwavering passion for our club spanned decades, including the clubs golden era in the 1980s when our underage teams triumphed at every level, culminating in the unforgettable Munster Senior Club victory in 1989.
Over the years she served in numerous roles with dedication, laughs and encouragement. Always there to help out where needed.
In recognition of her contribution, Anne was awarded honorary position of President in 2018-a title she carried with great pride.
Anne started her camogie career with Cratloe Camogie winning the inaugural Conway Cup in 1963. By 1967 Anne was wearing the Jersey of Sixmilebridge and bringing the Conway Cup back to Sixmilebridge, an achievement honoured at our Jubilee celebrations in 2013.

A huge supporter of Sixmilebridge GAA she sold Lotto tickets for years and up to recently, Anne was a familiar and cherished presence at Monday night Bingo.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her, but her spirit will forever remain part of the heart of our club.
The entire club would like to extend our thanks to Anne for her years of service to the role which she held in such high regard and grace. Please note Anne's Month Mass will be held Saturday 6th of June at 7.30pm. May she rest in peace.
