We travelled to Éire Óg for our second game of the Camogie Championship on Wednesday evening, 8 July 2026. It was a very warm and sunny evening, with anintermittent breeze providing slight relief from the heat.  The teams were evenly matched throughout much of the game, with both sides showing skill and commitment. We competed well in all areas of the field and worked hard to create scoring opportunities.  However, Éire Óg proved slightly more clinical in front of goal and had the edge when it came to converting their chances into scores.

We travelled with a panel of 19 players, and it was encouraging to be able to give every player game time. Each member of the squad contributed positively when called upon, demonstrating great teamwork and effort.

While the result did not go our way, there were many positives to take from the performance. The players showed commitment and resilience, and the experience gained will stand to the team as we continue our Championship campaign.
