We travelled to Clonlara on a sweltering Monday evening, 13 July 2026, for our third game of this U14A Championship. Both teams were evenly matched throughout the first half, with Sixmilebridge holding a three‑point lead at half‑time despite playing against a strong breeze. There were excellent displays of teamwork and skill from our girls, resulting in some impressive goals.

Unfortunately, Truagh/Clonlara struck with a couple of quick, successive goals just after half‑time, which put us on the back foot, but despite this the girls showed great resilience and perseverance, battling right to the final whistle.  On this occasion, it was Truagh/Clonlara’s day.
