U13 Camogie Academy match report v Inagh Kilmnamona

On a warm and sunny Friday evening, 17 July 2026, we travelled to Inagh to take on Inagh-Kilnamona on their home turf. With only the minimum 15 players available, our challenge became even greater when an injury shortly after half-time reduced us to 14.  While Inagh-Kilnamona proved to be the stronger side, our girls displayed tremendous determination, resilience and enthusiasm throughout the game.  Their commitment was reflected in the scoreline: after trailing by six points at half-time, we conceded only three points in the second half.  Impressively, our defence (goalie!) stood firm and did not concede a single goal.  We created several scoring opportunities of our own and, with a little more luck, could have scored.  Although the result did not go our way, the effort, spirit and teamwork shown by the girls were a credit to them and provided plenty of positives to take forward.
