U13 Academy match report v Wolfe Tones

Our U13 Academy team travelled to Wolfe Tones on Wednesday evening, 22 July 2026, for the next match in this series.  With Sixmilebridge having only 14 players available, the game was played 14-a-side.  Wolfe Tones proved to be the stronger team on the evening, but true to the spirit of our girls, they never stopped battling and maintained a positive attitude throughout. While we created several scoring opportunities, we were rewarded with one goal and one point—both excellent scores and highlights of a determined team performance.  The girls displayed outstanding attitude, commitment, teamwork, and game awareness from start to finish. Their support for one another and their willingness to keep working together, regardless of the scoreline, was a credit to the team.  Although the result did not go our way, the girls left the field smiling and in great spirits, having enjoyed a great game of camogie and gained valuable experience both individually and collectively.
