Sixmilebridge Intermediate Camogie started their 2026 campaign away to Ruan on Friday August 14th. Sixmilebridge took the lead through a well worked team goal finished to the net by Olivia Phelan. A lead which Sixmilebridge never gave up. Sixmilebridge went into half time 1.06 to 0.5 to the good thanks to some great teamwork at both side of the pitch. The second half started as it finished with Sixmilebridge keeping the scoreboard ticking in the right direction. To Ruans credit they never gave up and fought to the very last puck of the ball. Sixmilebridge ran out 1.16 to 0.9 winners.
