Calling all our U6 and U8 Hurlers from last year or indeed any boys born in 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010 – the Minor Club are delighted to announce a novel new venture to while away the long winter evenings!

Starting this Wednesday at 6.30pm and continuing on 2 other Wednesdays in Feb(10th & 24th) we will be hosting a “Parent and Child night” with Peter Casey the Games Development Officer from Clare GAA. 

The aim of these nights is for the young Hurler and their Parent to come down to the club and enjoy some Fun drills and games as, in all likelihood given the Weather we’ve had, it’s been a few months since the lads used a Hurley in earnest.

It may also be useful for those parents who don’t come from a “Hurling background” to familiarise themselves with some of the simple exercises you can do to help your child become more comfortable with practising their Hurling.

So come on down to the Clubhouse for one quick hour and get your “Fit February” off to a good start if, like most of us, January has passed you by.....!!

Just bring a hurley and helmet and a pair of runners.
