St Caimins opened their Clare U17 Hurling campaign with a 4-13 to 3-08 win over Ennistymon on Wednesday. The Bridge were well represented on the squad with 16 boys in the squad and the 4 goal scorers on the day were out own Seanie Conlon with 2 and Cian Mullins and Caelan Hayes with 1 each.
We had Noah Noah Seago O'Sulllivan @ 2, Harry Loughnane @5, Liam Flannery @8, Colm McManus @9, CialN Mullins @ 10, Seanie Conlon @ 12 and Liam Mulready @15. Caelan Hayes, Jack Fitzpatrick, Oiain Raffery, Christopher Healy, Padraig Collins, Caelan Hayes, Blake Corbett, Cillian Rafferty and Aidan Kearney were also part of the squad.
Shannon Schools Hurling There was a fantastic turnout for the first evening of the new Shannon Schools hurling initiative with over 70 students from St Caimins and Shannon Comprehensive attending a joint training session in Wolfe Tones GAA. School teachers along with coaches from Cratloe, Newmarket on Fergus, Sixmilebridge and Wolfe Tones, and Clare GAA Devlopment Officer, Mark O’Donnell, coached players from 1st year up to Leaving Cert on Tuesday after school. Trainings will continue on Tuesday evenings after school for 1st year, u15, u17 and Senior hurlers. All are welcome! We wish both schools the best of luck in their upcoming hurling campaigns starting this week
First Year Hurling St Flannan's hosted a 1st year hurling tournament this week with teams across the county and beyond in attendance. The teams were managed and games were reffed by TY students. The Bridge had representatives on the Flannans, Caimins, Tulla and St Patrick Comprehensive teams. The hurlers form the comp here
