Flan Quilligan, father of Aidan is the Senior championship record holder in the Bridge with 8 titles in 77, 79, 83, 84, 89, 92, 93, 95. Of the current crop of players Niall Gilligan leads the way with 4 titles in 95, 00, 02, 13 followed by Tadhg Keogh with 3 in 00, 02, 13.

The Bridge is continuing to support the Tipp Regeneration project with 3 Tipp men now forming part of John O Mearas backroom team. Eamonn Kelly who recently took the reins in Offaly hails from Kildangan while the Carr Brothers Seamus & Diarmuid hail from the famed Golden Kilfeacle Club.

Ronan Keane is possibly the longest serving waterboy in Club hurling history. Word has it the first port of call for any new hurling manager in the Bridge is to call to Ronan to convince him to give it one more year on the sidelines. This is Ronans 7th County Senior hurling final having won 3 and lost 3 to date. Lets hope this one tips the scales in Ronans favour.

Johnny Corbett who also forms part of the backroom team is a son of John Corbett who was involved in Team management when the Bridge won titles in 1983, 1992 and 1993.

There are 7 sets of brothers on the Clonlara panel: Ger, Nicky and Cathal O Connell; Domhnall and Cormac O Donovan; Colm and Ian Galvin; Shane and Oisin O Brien; John and Patrick Conlon; Michael and Paric O Loughlin; Ciaran and Seamus Downey.

There are 5 sets of brothers on the Bridge panel: Seadna and Danny Morey; their cousins Caimin and Alex Morey; Daragh and Cathal O Connor; Sean and Cathal Lynch; Pa and Alan Mulready.

When the Bridge won their first title in 1977, Jamsie Keogh, father of Tadhg; Peter Golden father of Shane; PJ Fitzpatrick father of Paidi; Pat Morey father of Seadna and Danny; and Flan Quilligan father of Aidan all formed part of the team. Corner back that day Kieran Toc Shea is goalkeeping coach in the current setup.
