Well done to Tiarnan Agnew on winning Gold in the handball singles and Sillver in the doubles at the World Handball championships over the weekend in Minnesota.
In an extremely strong U19 bracket, Bridge man Tiarnan Agnew proved a class above Canadian prodigy Ivan Burgos yesterday morning to claim the title 21-6, 21-6.
Agnew's stylish two handed attacking play was the difference on the day.
In total, 10 countries are represented in this years World Championships, which are held every three years. Ireland are due next to be hosting the 2021 Worlds.
