U10 Hurlers

Following last weekends outing in Newtownshandrum the U10s are on the road again this weekend to Clonmel for the annual St. Michaels tournament. A full report on both events will follow early next weekend. 

Junior Bs Last game of 2018

Although their league and championship seasons for 2018 are over, the Sixmilebridge Junior B's have one final game to play on Sunday evening when they take on the mighty men from South Galway, Kilbeacanty.

Kilbeacanty heard about the imminent retirement from the playing field of Martin Conlon, and they put the wheels in motion to travel to O'Garney park to take on the local side for Martins testimonial at 4.30pm on Sunday evening ! Kilbeacanty have nurtured many hurling household names such as Steve Mahon, Paddy Donoghue and Ross O'Donnell and they will be hoping to have a full strength side to take on the Bridge.

Minors defeat Doora Barefield

Our minor hurlers gave their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages a lift with a 7 point home win on a score of 1-15 to 0-11.

Prep work for arena

Work is continuing preparing the ground for the arena with the assembly of wire framing for the stone bacnks that will exist beside the structure. Anyone with a free hour on a Saturday morning and a pliers please call to the main GAA grounds around 9:30.

Golf Classic

The golf classic was a massive success with 40 teams taking part. Full details on the results and photos will be available here soon.
