U6 Hurling Training
Our second last session of the season takes place tonight at 6pm in O'Garney park. All the lads are recovered from last weekends blitz in Kilmaley and raring for road again so we will continue to hone the basic skills tonight with lots of fun games in preparation for our finale next Friday night when we welcome back Kilmaley for what promises to be a night of great fun and plenty of surprises.

U10 Hurling
We have 2 U10 teams heading south this Sunday to the famed Kells Road venue in Kilkenny City which is home to James Stephens which boasts greats such as Brian Coady and Jackie Tyrell. The Bridge have been invited to the Village tournament along with 4 other clubs including Cuala (Dublin), Athenry (Galway) and Sarsfields (Cork). This will be a great opportunity for the boys to measure themselves against some of the top talent in Ireland.
U16 Hurling Final
All roads lead to Gurteen this Sunday evening at 4:30 when the Bridge go in search of their 13th U16A title having wins in
1981, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1993, 1997, 1999, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011.
The team have put in a massive effort all year under manager Tommy Liddy and are hoping to build on their U15 win from last year. However they are up against it in an emerging powerhouse in the amalgamation of Corofin/Ruan who play in their first U16A final. The Bridge will have the confidence boost of winning the U16 title with their second team last Monday night and will be hoping to bring a second U16 title back to the club in 7 days.
