The recently published SIXMILEBRIDGE —Images through Time has sold out in 8 days . The committee decided today due to the huge demand and the disappointment expressed by those who didn’t get a copy or wanted more copies to go for a reprint.

The new copies will be available in 2 weeks from the local shops ,the school office ,the parish office or from the committee members.

The first edition produced €10,000 for the local national school which will open its new building in February 2019 .

Here is one of our favourite pictures from Paddy Higgins collection entitled "Heavy Traffic" taken in 2004 which sees our local butcher eyeing up the meat on show.
