Tonight on RTÉ 1 at 9:35pm The Big Picture: A Woman’s World will air as recently advertised. RTÉ describes the programme as a documentary examining what it is to be a woman in modern-day Ireland, looking at the opportunities and obstacles and how there is still far to go to achieve gender equality. It will feature eight different stories, one of which is Women in Sport.

Part if the documentary focuses on Chloe Morey as she gives her take on gender equality in sport. On October 2nd club members Chloe and Seadna Morey spoke on camera to RTÉ about their sporting careers. Following this Sixmilebridge Senior and U13 Camogie teams trained in the main field, while some players from each of the teams spoke about what it is like to be a woman playing sport. It will be interesting to seeing the finished product and what made the cut.
