It's that time of the year again when a hint of Spring in the air and a stretch in the evenings heralds the start of the U10 hurling season. The U10 hurling squad this year will be made up of boys born in 2009 and 2010.

Registration will take place this Saturday (2nd March) from 10am-12pm in the dressing rooms in O'Garney Park - cost is e30 per player (see Clubzap article for further information).

Training will take place on:

• Tuesdays @ main pitch 6:00pm to 7:15pm
• Thursdays @ Cappa Lodge 6:00pm to 7:15pm

Head coach David 'Doc' O'Connor has assembled a backroom staff blended with youth and experience (mostly experience actually). As there is a large squad of U10 hurlers this year we are always on the look out for additional coaches. Don't let a lack of hurling background or the fact that you cannot attend both evenings stop you from volunteering - all help will be greatly appreciated.

There is never a bad time to start hurling so if you know any boys born in 2009\2010 who are interested in hurling but have not played in previous years please direct them (and their parents) to us on Tues\Thurs evenings.
