The Bridge seniors had their first home game in this years Clare Cup under lights last Friday night with the visit of neighbours Cratloe for the annual Garneyside derby. Both teams were missing a number of first choice players with Cathal Malone being the only Clare panelist in action and indeed the standout player throughout hitting 5 points form play.
The Bridge were in determined mood from the start to impress the large home attendance and despite 9 wides in the first half lead by 9 points to 7 at half time. The hit the ground running in the second half with goals from Paul Corry & Kevin Lynch early on to put themselves in a commanding position to win by 15 points.
