Sixmilebridge 3-22 v 0-04 Eire Og
On Saturday 14th April the Junior B's had a comfortable win over Eire Og in round 2 of the league at O'Garney Park.
This was a game that had the 'Bridge in control from start to finish with a commanding half time lead of 2-12 to 0-2 setting them up nicely to record the victory. Errol Tuohy and Jamie Lyons each notched a goal in the the opening half.
Team management emptied the bench in the second half as they added a further 1-10 in reply to 0-2 from the Townies to run out convincing victors.
The 'Bridge had a wide spread of scorers from Jamie Lyons, who top scored with 2-4, right back to corner back Mark O'Donovan (with a similar score to his namesake Domhnall) on a day when Ronan Hayes made a welcome return to 'Bridge colours after a few years hurling with Civil Service in Dublin.
