Sixmilebridge 1-15 Clonlara 1-13

The Seniors took the short trip over the hills to take on an unbeaten Clonlara with 5 wins from 5 in the Clare Cup Round 6pm Saturday evening. Both teams were down a number of regulars due to injury and inter county commitments but this provided a platform for some new players to take their chance.

The scores were point for point in a keenly contested first half which ended all square on 8 points each after the short whistle. The turning point came on 50 minutes when Conor Deasy rattled the Clonlara net to edge the Bridge ahead and push them on to a 2 point win.
