Seanie Stack (Jnr) climbed another step towards the referee summit yesterday when he refereed the Leinster club final between Ballyhale Shamrocks and St. Mullins in Portlaoise. Stack who recently refereed All Ireland Minor games played underage for Sixmilebridge before getting a teaching post in the capital which saw him transfer to Parnells.
He took up whistling only a short time ago and refereed the Minor A final and Senior Final in recent years in Dublin. He is joined the intercounty refereeing panel in 2017 and we wish him luck and look forward to seeing him in charge soon on All Ireland final day. He is the son of Clare & Bridge legend Sean who was one of the greatest Clare hurlers of all time.
