On Wednesday the 30th of March the Sixmilebridge Under 12 Panel visited Croke Park as part of the Munster Club Day. After a tour of the stadium it was time to take the field and three game’s against Cork’s Ballinascarthy, Mount Sion of Waterford and Ballybricken/Bohermore of Limerick. Some great skills were on show all round and when the hurling ended the conversation turned to when the boy’s would return in years to come at older levels. On leaving Croke Park we made the trip to Ballyboden/St.Enda’s and another hour’s hurling against one of Dublin’s finest. A great welcome was extended to our club and 2 great matches were witnessed. We would like to thank Sean Chaplin, all in Croke Park and Emmet Pullan from Ballyboden for making this a memorable day for these young hurlers.
