Derek Fahy and Shane Golden were joint captains when we won our 15th senior hurling title earlier this year - Both lads are big fans MTV Cribs so who better to bring us on a guided tour of the arena that the 2 boyos themselves.
Before we unveil the pilot of their new TV show here is a quick update on the arena.
- The arena will be fully enclosed by Christmas
- The electrical work will begin in early January which will see the completion of indoor lighting.
- The final piece involving the laying of the Astro surface is planned to be completed in early spring.
There has been a phenomenal response to the clubs final push to complete the project with highlights including
- Donations from exPats and Clare hurling people in the UK, US Australia and beyond via our Donation option on the website
- Tax efficient PAYE donations by club members which results in 66% tax rebate on top for the club!

- Corporate donations - parents of our underage teams securing sponsorships from their place of work (Advertising sign for 5 years for 1K)

The response to the memorial wall is what is most pleasing for the club which ensures our loved ones, while they will be missed they will never be forgotten. This has seen siblings come together to remember a parent or multiple family members by including the family name on the arena walls (€1k for engraving on memorial plaque).
