In light of recent events that occurred in the European Football Championships that have again highlighted the importance of knowing how to apply the skills of CPR & Defibrillator operations.

We as a club have been very proactive in the area of training our coaches & players in the use of AED's & the application of CPR in the event of a life saving incident that occurs on GAA grounds.

On average between 80-100 young people are dying of sudden cardiac arrest a year in this country which further highlights the need for local community & club members to be upskilled in training.

As club first aid & Defibrillator instructor (Martin Conlon) I'd like to invite you to a free workshop this Saturday 19th June in the main field from 2-3pm where you'll get a chance to learn the basic skills of CPR.
