Sixmilebridge 3-24 Killanena 0-15

Both these sides were confident heading into the 2nd round after having earlier wins over Inagh/Kilnamona and Tubber but this game was over as a contest at half time at the Bridge blitzed their opponents with

early goals in the first quarter to lead by 2-05 to 0-04 on the first Water break. A 3rd goal and a further 7 points saw the Bridge lead by 3-12 to 0-10 at the half time whistle.

Killanena came out more determined in the second half but the Bridge defended in packs and held their opponents to a single point in the 3rd quarter to lead 3-19 to 0-11 before ending with an 18 point win.
