Congrats to our Club lads who played their part in Ard Scoil's semi final victory over St Colmans in Kilmallock on Wednesday afternoon on a score line of 2-19 to 1-10.
Regular Full back Niall Liddane was unfortunately not available due to illness to join fellow 'Bridge lads Matthew O'Halloran (midfield) and Daniel Chaplin(Full Forward) on the starting team.
From a Clare perspective it is great to see a strong Clare presence in the starting outfield 14 with 8 players and another on as 1st sub.
These included:
Sean McMahon Smith O'Briens Full back and Captain
Jamie Moylan Cratloe Centre back
Matthew O'Halloran (SMB) Midfield
Diarmuid Stritch Clonlara Centre Forward
Sean Arthur Newmarket Wing Forward
Marc O'Brien Cratloe Corner Forward
Daniel Chaplin SMB Full Forward
Eoin Begley Clonlara Corner Forward
Daire Neville Cratloe on as sub half forward
Honourable mention also on this well-coached team to Teachers/Coaches Liam Cronin Eire Og and Derek Larkin Clooney Quin
Ard Scoil Rìs now await the winners of the other semi final between St Flannans and De La Salle Waterford. From a Bridge and Clare perspective, an Ard Scoil and Flannans final would be a great prospect and O'Garney Park would be a strong contender to host such a final.
So best of luck to another 'Bridge man Fiachra Ò'Braoin and his Flannans teammates in the other semi final.
