This Friday night at 6:30pm our U8s and U9s will have their last combined training session for 2021 in O'Garney Park under lights - All players will take part in a Munster league which will see each team playing 3 games of 10 minutes a side. The referees on the night will be Kieran Liddane and Kevin Corry.

The teams will be managed on the night by 4 Celebrity Bainisteoirs:

Noel Purcell (Tipperary Manager) has been playing corner back so long that his team mates reckon there is an imprint of the number 4 tattooed onto his back .. He is said to wash his own jersey after games as no one else has wore the #4 for the Bridge since the great Tock Shea back in the 1980s. Noel has 5 senior hurling medals and player Clare Minor for 2 years the first of which was part of a full backline known as hells kitchen which also included his brother Trevor. Outside of hurling Noel is famous for being the fastest man in the Shannon Industrial Estate so will be sure to have the Tipperary team hopping off the ground come Friday evening.

Tipperary Squad: Matthew Murphy, Aaron Fitzpatrick, Ryan Griffin, Matthew Minihan, Jack Downes, Shane Fitzpatrick, James Fitzpatrick, Sean Og Chaplin, Finn O'Sullivan

Alan Mulready (Limerick Manager) is a cousin of the Tipperary Manager and his claim to fame is he played 3 years at County level for the Clare Minors as well as having 5 senior county titles in his back pocket. His team mates on the senior team say if he was any more laid back he would be horizontal so he is sure to have a calm head if things get hot on the sideline for what will be his first (ad)venture into team management.

Limerick Squad: Robert O'Hara, Rys Feehan, Sean Finnin, Ryan Comerford, Liam Kearney, Will Slattery, Tommy O'Sullivan, Paddy Morey, Joshua Keane

Jason Loughnane (Waterford Manager) is another player who played 3 years for the Clare minors - what some people dont know is Loughy was the top underage keeper in Clare in his day and lined out between the sticks at all levels for his club and county at underage. He has been one of the standout performers for the Senior team the last number of years and his claim to fame was that he was the only member of Wrong Direction (who famously won Stars in their Eyes in 2017) to make it as a Solo artist (he is famous for solo running down the wing and putting the ball over the bar)

Waterford Squad: Lorcan Benoit, Donnacha Heffernan, Jack Willis, Oran Casey, Dylan O'Halloran, Oisin Collins, Sean Ahern, Ben O'Flaherty, Cathal Pearl

Evan McInerney (Cork Manager) with 5 Senior titles to his name is a nephew of the famous Kevin Sox McInerney who has 6 titles - rumour has it Evan is contracted to the early morning weekend milking until he catches his uncles medal hall. In GAA foklore people speak of how Sean Óg Halpín didnt start hurling until his early teens and achieved so much but Evans team mates reckon he didnt start hurling till his late teens and has dwarfed Sean Ogs haul of county championship medals as well as now having also managed the rebel county!

Cork Squad: Alex Russell, JJ Quigley, Dylan Comerford, Harry Stafford, Ewan Morey, Fionn O'Brien, Scott Murphy, Jamie Mangan, Rys Tuohy
