Some fourteen eight year old elves were spotted and heard around Sixmilebridge this morning bringing a bit of Christmas cheer to the village.
The U8 elves, sporting their Santa hats had just completed their 5th week in their Winter training series. Probably their last session for 2021.
They had just broken their running track lap personal best as a team, by a whopping 3 seconds.
The lads have been focusing on running technique over the last few weeks, and also on improving jab, roll lifting, striking and mostly having fun.
Thanks to the Cozy Cottage who prepared Hot chocolate and pancakes for the boys who really enjoyed their treat. In fact they had been told they were setting off on 5 laps of the bridge and there might be a treat at the end of it!
