A large underarge supporters (sons and nephews!) group arrived for this game, an indication of the ages of some of the players involved!

In a very fast paced game, Cappa eventually took the upper hand after a 10 goal spree. The openness allowed for overlaps galore and the goals certainly followed.
For Marys, Rory Shanahan ceratinly excelled with 3-1 to his name at the final whistle, ably assisted by good defending from Billy Maxwell and Sean Chaplin at the back, even though some Cappa switches exploited the open nature of the game in the end and created the goals that won the game. Well done to Aidan O' Connor of the Togging Out crew who got his first green flag of the tournament.

For Cappa, Michael O' Halloran was in sensational form up front and Lorcan Fitzpatrick caused havoc wherever he went, couple that with roving runs from the back by Evan McInerney and Barry Fitzpatrick who raided goals aswell and you get a sense of the Cappas hungriness for the win on the day.

At Half Time there was 6 points in it with Cappa, 3-9 to the good against Marys, 3-3.
