After 4 Rounds of the Parish League, two teams have emerged as the clear top dogs, Kilmurry and Finnachtas. Equal on points and unable to be caught in Round 5, they will be the 2 finalists for 2022. The Round 5 game between the pair will not now be played this Saturday but instead will be played on the Finals day, St. Patricks Day in O' Garney park after the St. Patricks Day parade with time to be confirmed. The game will pit Mikey Corbetts Finnachtas against Jamesie Hassetts Kilmurry. There has been plenty of banter between the pair in the last few weeks. Corbetts quiet rise to the top of the table is to be admired whilst Jamsies organization with a talented Kilmurry group should equally be recognized.

On Finals Day there may be a few surprises so keep an eye here for Updates!!

The Round 5 game between Cappa and the Mountain will take place this Saturday at 4pm in Lees Road. There will be a blitz style playoff between the 3 bottom teams on Finals day, before the final. Each team will play the other for 20 mins (10 min halves). The team with lowest amount of points at end will win the Wooden Spoon!

On the scoring front, Tiernan Agnew remains the front runner and still has a game to play - The final game is counted for Top scorer in the league as it will be both teams Game 4. Fellow Kilmurry men Seamus O' Connell and Adam Murray are very close behind Tiernan ad Lorcan Fitzpatrick and veteran cousin Stiofan Fitzpatrick not too far behind. Rory Shanahan has blazed onto the charts after one weekemd of game! Will Tiernan and Adam make that pass in the final or will they go for their own scores!!
