Last Saturday gone saw our U11 hurlers in Go Games Action for the first time in 2022. The club had 4 even x U11 teams in action with 3 teams playing on home soil against St Josephs Doora Barefield on Saturday morning and the 4th team away to Smith O'Briens in Killaloe on Saturday afternoon.

The boys have been back training a number of weeks now and it was a huge lift to all the coaches to see the great team spirit from training carried onto the battle fields with some excellent hooking, blocking, striking on the run and catching on display. Skill scores is what the big emphasis is on for these boys at the moment with first touch, hooks, blocks, passing and catching being rated as valuable as a goal or point.
