Nearly 40 of our U9s travelled to Newmarket recently to take on the Blues U9s. Some great games were played out against well prepared and well coached Newmarket sides.

With the sides very evenly matched, the coaches afterwards decided to go for some return fixtures in the near future, as it was agreed that the competitive matches against other clubs really benefits the development of the clubs young hurlers.

Well done to all the boys who are progressing well in training and head into their 5th Blitz against Doora Barefield on Saturday next, which will be a good start to Munster Final weekend. Averaging a blitz at least every 2 weeks, in the good weather has been of great benefit.
