THE FUTURE IS ALWAYS BEGINNING NOW!

Sixmilebridge GAA club would like to invite all boys born in 2018, 2019 and 2020 to come along and experience hurling in a warm, fun, and safe environment.

The club is looking forward to welcoming you the parent(s) and your child(ren) as we introduce new boys to hurling with an emphasis on movement skills, basic hurling skills (grip, c-swing etc) and most importantly having fun. We also look forward to seeing the boys returning from last years squad who had a wonderful year of fun of hurling.

You will have seen the club has put a big emphasis on coaching our coaches in recent weeks so we will have plenty of experienced coaches to help the boys and hope all the parents will get involved and pick up nuggets of information along the way. Don't stand on the sidelines - give a hand.

Venue: Sixmilebridge GAA Hurling Arena

Day/ Time: Saturday Mornings 9:00am (Starting 28/01/23)

Equipment needed: Hurley and Helmet (spare equipment will be available for use on the mornings for children who do not have it)

Footwear required: Astro turf runners or moulded round studded boots (no runners, blades, or steel studs)

N.B. The first few mornings will take the format of introductory child and guardian mornings with full active participation from both. No level of experience or knowledge required as you will be guided as you go.
