Just when we all thought things could not get anymore exciting at U8 training following Wednesday nights dramatic Wipe Out Course the coaching teams revealed the identity of their high tech analysis system that they have been using to track the players training at home. Head coach Martin Conlon introduced the boys tonight to the coaches secret weapon - "Buck" who is a high tech drone piloted by Senior hurler Brian Carey.

The boys assembled in the astro pitch for a warm up before heading to the field to play games where we had close on 60 boys divided into 8 teams across 4 pitches. The night was cold but it did deter the boys who showcased the many skills they have learned all year with massive improvements since we started in April. Following the games each boy was presented with a Wall ball, Framed Photo of themselves in action, Club Flag, Skills chart Cert as well as the now traditional goodie bag.

Thanks to the Minor Club for their support all year and again tonight as well as the field committee, hall committee , Senior club, coaches, parents and players. Its been a long yet very enjoyable season and we encourage all the boys to keep practicing for the winter and keep hurling with a smile. For the record our season is summarised here:
