Darkness into Light

The committee have been putting our heads together to make Sixmilebridge darkness into light as special as possible. Over the coming weeks they will be approaching resident committees and asking people to put something on view in their estate for our walk on May 12th. We have some ideas but would love input from anyone with a unique idea to make the night even more beautiful.
They are wondering if anyone had spare glass jars that we could have to place candle's in? If you have some please contact the page and we will happily arrange to collect them.

Club History

The club is currently writing/updating their history and this is being spearheaded by Caimin Barrett (086-6063563) and Tim Crowe (087-2052842).

Anybody who is in possession of any material (photos, documents, programmes, club minutes, videos of matches etc) or if you know of anyone who has any material please contact Tim or Caimin ASAP.

Remember without history there would be no tradition - lets make sure the future generation continue our great traditions of hurling on Garney side.

Club Shop

Open Weekly so keep an eye on here for the opening hours each week. There is plenty of new items in stock with some very fashionable jackets for the new season.

Age is but a number

Well done to Minor Club treasurer and Bingo volunteer Kieran Keating who completed The Race in Donegal this weekend. The event is known as Irelands toughest endurance race and entails 250km of Running, Cycling and Kayaking which must be completed within a 24hr period with no sleep in the HILLS of Donegal. Kieran who reached a landmark birthday a few weeks ago (we wont say what age) shaved 5 hours off his previous time in the race to finish in the top 20.

PS: He took an hour off his previous time for every decade hes alive so you can work out his age - Inspirational stuff.
